The Therapist

Hi, I’m Daniel Edwards — a mental health therapist, husband, and father of three. That pretty much defines this season of my life. When I’m not working, I’m playing sports with my kids, joking around with friends and family, or attempting muscle-ups at CrossFit.

I believe therapy should feel human. Life can be serious, painful, and unpredictable, but it can also be joyful and full of humor. When it’s appropriate, I like to bring lightness into the room — because sometimes laughter and perspective are part of the healing process.

Before opening my private practice, I spent seven years working at the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Mental Health Supervisor, supporting veterans through trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Working with service members and their families shaped my approach to therapy — compassionate, direct, and grounded in real-life challenges.

With 17 years of experience and eight years in private practice, I specialize in treating OCD, anxiety disorders, grief, and trauma. I'm passionate about helping people find relief, clarity, and meaning. Whether you’re here to process trauma, break free from compulsions, or navigate loss, I look forward to getting to know you and helping you move toward a more peaceful, fulfilling life..

The Therapy Dog

Cambria is my Certified Therapy Dog — and for many years, she was an important part of the therapy experience. Calm, gentle, and endlessly patient, she had a special way of helping clients feel at ease the moment they walked in.

At 16 years old, Cambria is now enjoying a well-earned retirement and won’t be in the office anymore, though her spirit and presence are still part of the space. Many clients still share fond memories of her quiet comfort and steady companionship — reminders of how simple connection can be healing.
